What is Liquid Cooling?
Liquid cooling in PCs is a system used to keep high-performance components, like the CPU and GPU, from overheating. It works by circulating a special liquid through tubes to absorb heat from these parts. The heat is then transferred to a radiator, where it is cooled by fans before being recirculated.
Liquid cooling is more effective than traditional air cooling because liquid conducts heat better, allowing for more efficient temperature control. This is especially useful in gaming PCs or systems under heavy workloads.
It can be more expensive due to the complexity of the system, which requires specialized parts like pumps, tubing, radiators, and high-quality liquid coolant. The installation process is also more intricate, making the overall cost higher than simple air cooling setups.
